She who has been: wanting a good rub

I went home, Friday night after receiving my salary and many bad news. I walked with Grie and Mhinnie, then had late night snack at Chowking-MRT Buendia. After an hour I'm already home. I did a lot of sleeping and resting and when I woke up after my afternoon sleep I saw my mom having a massage.
My back automatically ached. I had mine at 7PM since the masseur needed to go home and see to her daughter's needs. She was on time which was nice. I already had a bath and dinner. After my massage, here comes my niece. Not wanting to be left out. The masseur was surprise because my niece wasn't ticklish, not moving too much and seemed enjoying her back massage.

And her turn was finished, she doesn't want to put her white shirt on and kept on wailing. She even pointed the masseur and the green oil that she used on my back, and "asked" the masseur to continue. Her mom, my sister had a hard time dressing her up. She even let the measure to carry her as long as she would rub her back hahahaha

She's developing a not-so-bad habit there. I guess every time mom would invite a masseur to come over, she'll not let the masseur go unless after her own back rubbed.

What a sweetheart..hahaha

She who has been: walking down the memory lane

My company is an independent "account" and renting space to another company under the same business.

Confusing?
Its like this.

There are many foreigners putting up businesses here in RP. Well, labor cost isn't too expensive and with good trainings, workshops and exposure we are now one of the few countries who offers good quality service in terms of online customer service.

I used to work for "A" company but since after a few months work, they say that they'll not regularized any employees anymore. WHOAAAT

So, I moved to account "B". Company "A" has many accounts under their wings. They offer office space with internet and phone connection and people to these accounts. But there are some independent accounts as well. Meaning, these accounts only need enough space in lesser price with Internet and telephone connection. They have their own computers, people that they pay and materials already. And account "B" is one of them.

They move in two Decembers ago and before that December ends, owner "A" asked me to report to manager "B" and receive trainings from them. I was their first "rented" employee. I started training and making calls January next year.

We were only hmm I think more or less 12 in the morning. Everything was fine. I go to work at 4:30AM and worked for account "B" until 12:30PM then ran to company "A"'s own account and worked their until 6PM.

I got really really tired with the situation and because company A's can't handle people properly, their rules keep on changing, their salary is always late [they even borrowed my 1st salary to account B] and their account left me so exhausted I decided to resign. I told manager "B" of my decision because in them, resignees should informed managers 4weeks prior to their departure and 2 weeks for company A.

Manager "B" talked to me about this and he offered me to work for them full time. The conversation was good and we let manager/s "A" to deal with it after less than 2 weeks. To secure my transfer, manager "B" talked to company "B"'s owner and asked for company "A"s owner's permission. Company "A" was so eager to throw me to account "B" as if I'm just an itchy flake on their shoulder.

They were so eager to throw me. They didn't let me finish my 2 weeks. I still have a few days [3 working days to be exact] and I lose at least 5-7K. It's just good that I felt so relieved [of stress] and didn't contest. Since I already worked for 6months to company B, manager B offered to regularized me once I moved :) and I'll get benefits like a regular employee does.

Maybe, I did well and after a few more months, I was offered with account B a new shift. Since then, I've been earning double hahaha But the sad truth is, I didn't save enough. I'm single and free with money in my wallet. You'll see me wasting my precious money to buy what I want but not really needed. Then low and behold, few months ago, I decided to make my hard-earned money to work. So I bought my first condo which after 2 years will be an asset :)

After Christmas, December: company A talked to me next day: account B manager talked to me
After New Year, January: got my new station, taking calls
After 6 months, July: decided to resign [I've been working with them since October last year], talked to manager B
Same month: Manager B kept asking me about letting company A about my decision
Last week of the same month: company A gave me a go
After 3 months, Sept: manager B offered me another shift including Sally and Mhinnie, convincing them to let their accounts at company A go!
Few days after, same month: I joined Sally as double shifter
After 1 week, same month: Sally didn't make it and let go. Mhinnie took her account.
February this year: Daisy joined the club
Few more months: Audrey gave it a shot
April 2010: Sally came back after mhinnie and I few days of pestering manager B
Few weeks ago: Cecille started her new life taking Janice's old account

* I'll make sure of the dates on Monday. I'll ask these people for the exact dates.
I have no worries about it until, few days when people around me started disappearing. Its like walking on
thin ice, that my break and I might fall to a very cold and dark financial bankruptcy.

June 09/10th: Daisy went home early
June 14/15th: Jiya [ROK] was terminated
June 16/17th: Audrey's last day on AM shift
June 18th : Kris [AM], Randy [PM] early resignation, Marie [PM] supposedly maternity leave now resign, Sally and Mhinnie [double shifters] PM shifts were cancelled.

Again, I'm still holding my ground and buying as much time as possible.

Cross fingers and please wish me luck.

I need lots of it.

She who has been: so anxious

... since last week.

Two Thursdays ago, Daisy one of my co-workers and also a double shifter since I cant remember when was been "eliminated". Her PM shift was cancelled and according to the 2 managers, she has lots of PM complaints.

The girl tried maybe to stay calm despite the shocking news and she planned to quit her AM shift as well, the girl is young so she acts depending on her emotion, like how acted many moons ago.

Then just last week, Wednesday if my memory is functioning accurately Audrey; also one of the double-shifters was also eliminated but she tried not to show her emotions openly. She tried to brush it off and expressed her disappointment through eating a lot. Then on Friday, Mhinnie and Sally [double-shifters], as well as Kris [AM-resignee], Marie [PM-maternity leave], and Randy [PM-resignee] were all eliminated. All on the same date. The resignees have atleast 3 weeks to 4 weeks waiting since they just passed their letters few days ago. But like what Randy have said, "I aint see it coming". Though, Glady [PM-resignee] was able to hold on to finish her remaining 3 weeks contract after threatening the managers to call DOLE if they will force her to resign early.

I think, she has rights to do it because there were no grounds to force her on the first place. I migt say that the girl was wise to think properly after all these stunts. And that made me think some more. I talked to Mhinnie since we are the only regular double-shifters. She says that the company will give her, her 13th month pay and her last payment [for PM shift]. But we have thought of her seperation pay. I talked [chat] to a friend about the situations and explained things, since her mom worked for BIR Im guessing that she knew something about labor codes and whatnot.

According to her, since we signed 2 different contracts Mhinnie is entitled to get a "seperation pay" which if I understand it correctly, is equals to her 1month salary. Since, she is a regular employee in her PM-shifts and signed a different contract for it, she IS entitled for a seperation pay aside from her 13th month and last days of work.

Hmmmmm

This site is open for any clarifications, comments etc about the said topic.

She who has been: thinking

... that the company's owner made a very very wrong move.

Account B's owner lend company A's owner 500K to pay for company B's unpaid electronic bills and employees.
Whoah!
And now Account B's employees are shouldering the burden. We lost 1 employee 2 weeks ago. We lost 6 before the week ends and might lose more on the next week.

Im still holding my ground and wont make it easy for them. I will not run up and down and look like a fire brigade on the lose but Im again organizing and reorganizing my materials for a fight. I need clients, more clients to call and make more to reenrol. Im targeting kids. I need to make their moms "WOW" at me

hahahaha

What on earth am I thinking.

Well, losing one job is out of my options now. I have a dog to feed, a rent, a condo and a credit card to pay. So, its so out of the option.

She who has been: eyeing these bags since she saw them

I have bags, lots of them. They are not really that expensive though, at least less than Php2000. And now I'm into big bags since I like putting "necessary" things with me hahaha and these are my new babies.

I saw them in a catalog and been eyeing for it since then. I even bought a wallet that matches my new black-and-violet bag :)
The white one is for my sister, Aileen. My additional birthday gift for her. Well, it would be very useful since she's always on the go. Anyways, now she loves me more than before because of that bag hahahaha

These bags are from Sophie Paris.
