She who has been: wanting a good rub

I went home, Friday night after receiving my salary and many bad news. I walked with Grie and Mhinnie, then had late night snack at Chowking-MRT Buendia. After an hour I'm already home. I did a lot of sleeping and resting and when I woke up after my afternoon sleep I saw my mom having a massage.
My back automatically ached. I had mine at 7PM since the masseur needed to go home and see to her daughter's needs. She was on time which was nice. I already had a bath and dinner. After my massage, here comes my niece. Not wanting to be left out. The masseur was surprise because my niece wasn't ticklish, not moving too much and seemed enjoying her back massage.

And her turn was finished, she doesn't want to put her white shirt on and kept on wailing. She even pointed the masseur and the green oil that she used on my back, and "asked" the masseur to continue. Her mom, my sister had a hard time dressing her up. She even let the measure to carry her as long as she would rub her back hahahaha

She's developing a not-so-bad habit there. I guess every time mom would invite a masseur to come over, she'll not let the masseur go unless after her own back rubbed.

What a sweetheart..hahaha

She who has been: walking down the memory lane

My company is an independent "account" and renting space to another company under the same business.

Confusing?
Its like this.

There are many foreigners putting up businesses here in RP. Well, labor cost isn't too expensive and with good trainings, workshops and exposure we are now one of the few countries who offers good quality service in terms of online customer service.

I used to work for "A" company but since after a few months work, they say that they'll not regularized any employees anymore. WHOAAAT

So, I moved to account "B". Company "A" has many accounts under their wings. They offer office space with internet and phone connection and people to these accounts. But there are some independent accounts as well. Meaning, these accounts only need enough space in lesser price with Internet and telephone connection. They have their own computers, people that they pay and materials already. And account "B" is one of them.

They move in two Decembers ago and before that December ends, owner "A" asked me to report to manager "B" and receive trainings from them. I was their first "rented" employee. I started training and making calls January next year.

We were only hmm I think more or less 12 in the morning. Everything was fine. I go to work at 4:30AM and worked for account "B" until 12:30PM then ran to company "A"'s own account and worked their until 6PM.

I got really really tired with the situation and because company A's can't handle people properly, their rules keep on changing, their salary is always late [they even borrowed my 1st salary to account B] and their account left me so exhausted I decided to resign. I told manager "B" of my decision because in them, resignees should informed managers 4weeks prior to their departure and 2 weeks for company A.

Manager "B" talked to me about this and he offered me to work for them full time. The conversation was good and we let manager/s "A" to deal with it after less than 2 weeks. To secure my transfer, manager "B" talked to company "B"'s owner and asked for company "A"s owner's permission. Company "A" was so eager to throw me to account "B" as if I'm just an itchy flake on their shoulder.

They were so eager to throw me. They didn't let me finish my 2 weeks. I still have a few days [3 working days to be exact] and I lose at least 5-7K. It's just good that I felt so relieved [of stress] and didn't contest. Since I already worked for 6months to company B, manager B offered to regularized me once I moved :) and I'll get benefits like a regular employee does.

Maybe, I did well and after a few more months, I was offered with account B a new shift. Since then, I've been earning double hahaha But the sad truth is, I didn't save enough. I'm single and free with money in my wallet. You'll see me wasting my precious money to buy what I want but not really needed. Then low and behold, few months ago, I decided to make my hard-earned money to work. So I bought my first condo which after 2 years will be an asset :)

After Christmas, December: company A talked to me next day: account B manager talked to me
After New Year, January: got my new station, taking calls
After 6 months, July: decided to resign [I've been working with them since October last year], talked to manager B
Same month: Manager B kept asking me about letting company A about my decision
Last week of the same month: company A gave me a go
After 3 months, Sept: manager B offered me another shift including Sally and Mhinnie, convincing them to let their accounts at company A go!
Few days after, same month: I joined Sally as double shifter
After 1 week, same month: Sally didn't make it and let go. Mhinnie took her account.
February this year: Daisy joined the club
Few more months: Audrey gave it a shot
April 2010: Sally came back after mhinnie and I few days of pestering manager B
Few weeks ago: Cecille started her new life taking Janice's old account

* I'll make sure of the dates on Monday. I'll ask these people for the exact dates.
I have no worries about it until, few days when people around me started disappearing. Its like walking on
thin ice, that my break and I might fall to a very cold and dark financial bankruptcy.

June 09/10th: Daisy went home early
June 14/15th: Jiya [ROK] was terminated
June 16/17th: Audrey's last day on AM shift
June 18th : Kris [AM], Randy [PM] early resignation, Marie [PM] supposedly maternity leave now resign, Sally and Mhinnie [double shifters] PM shifts were cancelled.

Again, I'm still holding my ground and buying as much time as possible.

Cross fingers and please wish me luck.

I need lots of it.

She who has been: so anxious

... since last week.

Two Thursdays ago, Daisy one of my co-workers and also a double shifter since I cant remember when was been "eliminated". Her PM shift was cancelled and according to the 2 managers, she has lots of PM complaints.

The girl tried maybe to stay calm despite the shocking news and she planned to quit her AM shift as well, the girl is young so she acts depending on her emotion, like how acted many moons ago.

Then just last week, Wednesday if my memory is functioning accurately Audrey; also one of the double-shifters was also eliminated but she tried not to show her emotions openly. She tried to brush it off and expressed her disappointment through eating a lot. Then on Friday, Mhinnie and Sally [double-shifters], as well as Kris [AM-resignee], Marie [PM-maternity leave], and Randy [PM-resignee] were all eliminated. All on the same date. The resignees have atleast 3 weeks to 4 weeks waiting since they just passed their letters few days ago. But like what Randy have said, "I aint see it coming". Though, Glady [PM-resignee] was able to hold on to finish her remaining 3 weeks contract after threatening the managers to call DOLE if they will force her to resign early.

I think, she has rights to do it because there were no grounds to force her on the first place. I migt say that the girl was wise to think properly after all these stunts. And that made me think some more. I talked to Mhinnie since we are the only regular double-shifters. She says that the company will give her, her 13th month pay and her last payment [for PM shift]. But we have thought of her seperation pay. I talked [chat] to a friend about the situations and explained things, since her mom worked for BIR Im guessing that she knew something about labor codes and whatnot.

According to her, since we signed 2 different contracts Mhinnie is entitled to get a "seperation pay" which if I understand it correctly, is equals to her 1month salary. Since, she is a regular employee in her PM-shifts and signed a different contract for it, she IS entitled for a seperation pay aside from her 13th month and last days of work.

Hmmmmm

This site is open for any clarifications, comments etc about the said topic.

She who has been: thinking

... that the company's owner made a very very wrong move.

Account B's owner lend company A's owner 500K to pay for company B's unpaid electronic bills and employees.
Whoah!
And now Account B's employees are shouldering the burden. We lost 1 employee 2 weeks ago. We lost 6 before the week ends and might lose more on the next week.

Im still holding my ground and wont make it easy for them. I will not run up and down and look like a fire brigade on the lose but Im again organizing and reorganizing my materials for a fight. I need clients, more clients to call and make more to reenrol. Im targeting kids. I need to make their moms "WOW" at me

hahahaha

What on earth am I thinking.

Well, losing one job is out of my options now. I have a dog to feed, a rent, a condo and a credit card to pay. So, its so out of the option.

She who has been: eyeing these bags since she saw them

I have bags, lots of them. They are not really that expensive though, at least less than Php2000. And now I'm into big bags since I like putting "necessary" things with me hahaha and these are my new babies.

I saw them in a catalog and been eyeing for it since then. I even bought a wallet that matches my new black-and-violet bag :)
The white one is for my sister, Aileen. My additional birthday gift for her. Well, it would be very useful since she's always on the go. Anyways, now she loves me more than before because of that bag hahahaha

These bags are from Sophie Paris.

She who has been: walking around the neighborhod

I wrote something about volunteering few weeks ago. I wasnt able to post these pictures then though. When Lara and I were checking Makati Coliseum we saw this group of people feeding these children. Lara asked the caucasian guy about their organization's name but I cant simply remember. I'll just ask her again on Monday though.

I'll try to see Lara's picture of these kids and might post it here soon.

She who has been: crying for these big fellass

I have nothing against Japan, but still is this humanitarian???

Its good that we are on the top of the food pyramid but still, scenes like these could make a woman's heart weep.

Once, my dad showed his pictures and videos
whales swimming with them while he was on board. He said that whales and dolphins are a like. Both animals came around and playfully show their talents to almost everyone. These could be the effect of too much trust. To swim in your own blood.

Maybe having too much whale is not really good but I think, these are inhumane.

* sigh

She who has been: posting

... another of Eileen's personal message. I asked her permission if I could post her brother's picture here, so here they are.

"Meet my 6-year old cousin and my 7-year old brother, Evan. They fought today while playing with their toy cars. It was really funny." - Eileen

ahhhh pictures like this one could make me wish that I have a brother of my own. Well, I guess I'm wishing for one because we, people aren't satisfied with what we already have. Maybe, I have either an older or younger brother, you'll hear me wishing that I shoudn't have one.

* sigh

She who has been: posting from her

... other personal message board

I love these pictures. It was sent to me last night and since I have 1 and a half hour free time, I decided to post it here. Well, I asked for the sender's permission though I didnt wait for the sender's reply :) hahaha
Also, her message is included though a little edited and yes, these pictures were taken in Korea [ROK].

" My school held Sports Day last May 28th. Students who wore dresses from Joseon Dynasty received special awards. We cheered and waved our national flag. We had running, tug-o'-war and jumpigng rope event. I danced with other students before the last event. I danced in a very high-spirited mood. " - Eileen

The name is not the sender's really name.

She who has been: jumping and thinking at the same time

Yes, that is really right.

I started "jumping" last night but only for a minute and for 20 jumps [I guess]. Well, I cant jump for a long time since I kept banging things around. I need to clean and "redecorate" my room. There are so many scattered things in my room. gahh!

Anyways, it was good after a few minutes of adjustment. I'm starting to like it when my left leg started throbbing. Later this evening, I'll do more warm up, jumping and cleaning. Also, the jump rope in the picture is same as mine though the rope is in gray but exactly the same. Its better for me to grab some pictures on line since my camera is going crazy. Urgh!

Also, I've tried my holla-hoops but mine has fine grains inside so it makes a lot of noise. I'm thinking of buying a new one but I haven't used mine, ever :( so I'll might use it on weekend or when there's not much people around.

I really need this simple exercise. Urgh! I'm starting to get burn of office work. I have a gym membership and it automatically deducts to my card unfortunately I have never been there since the month started. So, simple put I'm wasting money. Urgh! I'm just wondering how on earth am I going to juggle things here. I have work from Monday to Friday, only have 5 hours free time on weekdays [literally]. I have volunteering on weekend and family day on Sundays [well, I really don't have to be there "every" Sunday.]

Must do more figuring and thinking.

She who has been: thinking

.. of what is the best way to shake this boredom.

I feel..
B.O.R.E.D.

I mean, I always work, well its fine with me its just that, I'm doing the same thing again and again. and again.
What I only do is to chat with my office mates when time permits but last week, my manager told me [us] to keep our mouth shot.

WHAAAAATTTT!!!!

Also, because my station is along the hallway, he also told me not to block it. As if Im the one blocking it. I mean, com'on this "street" is block because I'm not the only one in this god-forsaken office who is rottenly bored, so some of my office mates even come near just to stretch their legs and jaw.

Urgh! last night, people were busy and sleepy. Thanks to the "warm" aircondition and since Janice isnt here anymore, there's no one I could really disturb.

Life.

*sigh

She who has been: watching the moon

... and the traffic.

Right. Its friday and as always, traffic at 11:00 PM. How wonderful. * sigh

We just finished work and we cant get a ride easily so Mhinnie and I decided to walk for a block before getting ourselves a cab. It was a little bit rainy and the road has been lit by traffic lights. Its actually good to walk since tomorrow is friday but Mhinnie is in a hurry. So, after we made a turn she hailed the first cab she came across and stopped.

BTW look at the moon. Isnt it beautiful? I cant remember the last time I actually watched the moon. I do a lot of moon-watching way back in college when I have to walk for 10 minutes on my way home. Then, the moon was really, as in really beautiful. I usually smile and greet her everytime I see her. I dunno why but I like the moon better than the sun. For me, she is more comforting and calm. Secretive and always on guard. I even say a little prayer until now, everytime I see her :)

She who has been: thinking of something good

..and now, I'm really on it.
I remember the day when my high school joined Gawad Kalinga and built some houses bus ride away from my school though I wasn't really there, for reasons I cant remember. I saw my schoolmates, classmates and teachers pictures in one of our many bulletin boards scattered around the campus. Well, our high school is a bit big so they have bulletin boards all over.

Then in college, my school joined the election and some of my classmates, schoolmates and again professors joined in. I'm not a sucker for volunteering and usually brushed it off. Maybe, it wasn't my calling yet. Maybe, I have to experience and see things first so that time, effort and support wont waste.

So, here I am with Lara attending an orientation for Verlanie Foundation. The foundation is just around Makati and a walk away Makati Coliseum.

I was really tired and not into-volunteerism the night before and the morning after and even an hour after I got dressed but since I cant find any reasons to cancel it, I still met Lara at KFC - Pasong Tamo and there we were.

After the short-and-not-so-upbeat orientation, to be honest it made me yawn and on the verge of standing up and make some dancing tricks, well out of habits :) to keep my spirit there and not wander somewhere near or in , dreamland.

After the orientation, Ms. Lyn the young but been in the foundation for quite a while toured us so we could see and have a first hand view of what the foundation has been doing. well, I'm already decided but the tour polished my decision :)

Lara and I will be back next weekend to make final assessment, I guess. I have to choose programs so I'll be checking there site tomorrow :)

Please take note that I colored the kids eyes. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post their pictures though Ms. Lyn allowed me and some of us to take some photos with this kids. I'm just following how they do it on TV. So please, excuse my innocence.

I have also taken the Makati Coliseum. Lara and I actually inquired after our tour and the guard on duty told us that the coliseum might be open in June or July.

Well, we will back by then.

She who has been: checking products at the Body Shop

I actually received a text from The Bodyshop saying that they have some promotions especially for card holders like I. So, I decided to drop by and check there offers.

Nothing new, honestly. Nothing that really WOWed me in any sense. I just grabbed by spray, the one on violet bottle; White Musk Chiffon Sheer Body Mist.

One bottle of that size stayed with me for a month so I regularly visit the nearest branch of The BodyShop to make sure that I have one.

Also, since its one of my ever demanding sisters birthday, I decided to buy her a perfume; LoveETC. She's actually requesting for Red Deep but according to their sales representative the item is already phased-out. So, I opted for a different one.

I also bought, EldeFlower Unperfumed Eyegel out of whimps. The representative told me that its good for
soothing the eye but according to reviews that I read online, it doesnt lessen wrinkles. It only soothes the
eye and lessen the fluffyness. Its even better if  you'll put it in your fridge before using it.

She who has been: watching a parade

and awaken by the sudden sound of a drum coming from the marching band.

I was a bit tired this morning but yeah all of a sudden, some drumming and trumpeting disturb my most awaited sleep and rest. Since I can go back to sleep while they are hummering my eardrum, I decided to get up grab my camera and see what was going on outside.

There was a parade of little beauties outside. The one on the picture was there opening march. I wasnt
able to stay long and watch the parade since my tummy decided to have a parade on its on and pushedme to go downstairs.

She who has been: waiting

..also, here are some pictures that I took from Shangrila Plaza. I'm actually one of the few people who gets inside first. Its very early. Around 10 AM and I decided to wait for my realtor here though he is an hour and a half behind the original schedule. I made another post about it.

I originally posted it here though I decided to move it to my other blog so instead I wrote this one though its not pretty interesting as the first :)

She who has been: very hungry since she came in

Yeah..I should be on a diet and put myself to a you-must-not-eat-grissy-food but Im really hungry this morning. It took me 4 trips down the pantry to have these for breakfast.

Typical Filipino breakfast. Rice, egg and hotdogs. Its been awhile since I have this, really. I usually go to the office, get some bread and coffee from Raquel's then start checking my schedule for the day. If I do have some breaks, I rather nap even for 8-10 minutes.

*sigh Its really hard to earn money now adays.

FYI:

May 27th: the picture was taken
Jun 07th: now I have adobo by Mhinnie and rice for breakfast.. yum!

She who has been: visiting the office

..for a week now and her name is Dasha. She's Brenda's adorable 4-year old daughter.

* Bless her mom for allowing me to post her picture here. Anyways, I'll not point her exactly just look at the 2 girls and make a cute guess.

The girl is actually smart, bubbly and I like her. She speaks when ask, plain and simple. Such honesty. Honestly, I'm not into kids especially the brats. Do I have to describe how bratty-child/ren act like? I guess not. I might define bratty kids and some might say that the child/ren is acceptable and just being kids. Duh! I was bratty when I was a kid and still am after 27 years.

I like bubbly kids. What do I mean by that. She/he should be clean and doesn't cry when ask. Not thin, definitely not thin. She/he isn't afraid of me and chats with me. Be cute and all kids but no bad words or I'll send her/him flying to her/his momma.

This girl here isn't scared of me :) hehehe and even kissed me before she left the office. Smart kid. She knows nice people!

hahahaha

She who has been: saving money

It's the last day of the month and at work, it's "counting day". Every last 2 days of the month, preferably the last Thursday and Friday our manager, ms.T count the number of our calls for the whole month. The accumulated result is our "call incentives". If we did especial things like free calls and compositions then it will be added. One of my co-workers here gets at least $ 86.36 [Php 4000] for incentives only. Few of us can only do free calls [me and another 2 in the morning] and [me and another 5 in the afternoon] so it means I have more competition in the afternoon that morning hahaha. Anyways, I did 6 compositions for a few cents urgh! some people here kept on getting my saved articles. I hate it but I should try my luck again next time :(

I need to earn more money now, so I have to work triple [well I'm already working double neh?]. Save more money by eating less [urgh!], less spas, no more travels, no unnecessary shopping trip and save, save and more save.
